The Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) is a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It is a collection of immigration pathways that offer an opportunity for foreign nationals to become Canadian permanent residents.
The Provincial Nominee Program allows qualified and experienced individuals to settle in the province and particular territories of Canada. Those provinces and territories nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada.
The provincial nominee's program nominates people who:
Have skills, educational qualifications, and work experience to contribute to specific Canadian provinces.
He plans to live in that province.
You want to be a permanent resident of Canada.
Many provinces and territories participate in the PNP program along with their stream and requirements. These provinces can target students, entrepreneurs, skilled workers, and semi-skilled workers.
The following provinces or territories are currently participating in the PNP program:
Newfoundland and Labrador
Prince Edward Island
Well, it depends on the provincial candidate program you are applying for. This process can be done online through Express Entry or on paper.
The whole process includes two stages:
At first, you need to find out any specific province or territory to live in Canada. Check the eligibility criteria and then ask the province for a nomination.
In the second stage, when that province nominates you, you can apply for permanent residence.
Then the process will be carried out as follows:
Once you are nominated for a province, you can complete the application form. There is an application packet provided on the IRCC website. Please fill out the form accordingly.
After completing your form, you may have to pay:
- Processing fees for you and the person on your request
- The fee for the right of permanent residence
- Biometric fee
- Third-party fees
Third-party fees include fees for:
- Medical exams
- Police certificates
- English language test
- Educational credential evaluation
Finally, check to see if you answer all questions, including fees, sign all forms, and include other supporting documents. Remember, incomplete applications will be rejected.
You can apply in two ways, either:
Contact the province to request a nomination under a fast-track entry flow. When nominated by the province, create your Quick Entry Profile to display your nomination. OR
First create your quick entry profile to display any particular province that interests you.
When the province sends you a “Notice of Interest,” contact them directly.
No matter how you apply, you must be eligible for that province. Also, submit your express entry profile with minimal criteria. Once you are invited to apply, submit your electronic application to IRCC.
